I created this blog because I have always loved gardening and in recent years have strongly felt the metaphor of it all - and of course being a photographer - what a perfect subject. In fact I have photographed my garden every month, every year since 2002. This is my tribute to my grandmother Ruth Norman Sidden who taught me to love earth and its bounty.

Mid May Panoramic of my yard.
Here is a panoramic I created about two weeks ago. My fig is taking over the yard. And with this rain I may soon have a jungle in my backyard.
